AeHIN, with support from Health Level Seven International (HL7) International, offered five scholarships for the HL7 FHIR Fundamentals course. The four-week asynchronous and instructor-led course began on June 14, 2022. It provided an in-depth overview of the technical skills required to implement the HL7 FHIR standard.

The course also featured weekly assignments, quizzes, exams, projects, and discussions with the tutors and peers to help elevate the learners’ understanding of the skills needed to implement HL7 FHIR.

AeHIN nominated the five scholars from its Community of Interoperability Labs (COIL). The nominated scholars who completed the course are:

  • Southiny Phiahouaphanh, Lao PDR
  • Rajendra Prasad Poudel, Nepal
