New Delhi, India – Jai Ganesh Udayasankaran, Executive Director of AeHIN, participated as a panelist in the session titled “Global Institutional Framework for Accelerating Adoption of Digital Health” at the Observer Research Foundation & PATH Co-branded Thought Leadership event in on April 13, 2023.
The event was a curtain-raiser for deliberations before the second Health Working Group (HWG) meeting under India’s G20 Presidency from April 17 to 19 in Goa, India. It was attended by about 120 participants, including representatives of Governments, non-profits, and civil society.
In the panel session, Udayasankaran spoke about the experiences and insights from AeHIN’s role in supporting the Ministry of Health in countries convening Digital Health Convergence workshops, highlighting the effectiveness of the convergence approach to bring about multi sectoral-coordination and cooperation among various stakeholders to collaborate towards the implementation of national digital health strategies/blueprint, as well as the community of donors and development partners to align their investments.
