Taguig, Philippines–The Philippine Society for Digital Health (PSDH) and the University of the Philippines Manila Standards and Interoperability Lab (UPM SILab), a member of the Asia eHealth Information Network Community of Interoperability Labs (AeHIN COIL), hosted the 13th Biennial Conference of the Asia Pacific Association for Medical Informatics (APAMI) themed “Game Changers in Digital Health” from October 1 to 2, 2024 at the University of the Philippines, Bonifacio Global City (UP BGC).
The two-day event saw remarkable plenary and paper presentations on digital health from the Philippines and delegates from the Asian region and opened more opportunities for further knowledge exchange.
The conference delegates coalesced around three areas which align with the work of the organizations present at the event:
- Governance and architecture of standards and interoperability – AeHIN
- Education on standards and interoperability – APAMI
- application of standards of interoperability – COIL
AeHIN was among the partners that supported the event. AeHIN COIL members at the conference also met to discuss activities in the pipeline.
