Prof. Kimura begins his presentation on IPS updates in the Asian region before HL7 colleagues
Health Level Seven (HL7) International held its Working Group Meeting and HL7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) Connectathon from May 10 to 16, 2025, in Madrid, Spain.
On May 15, 2025, Prof. Michio Kimura, Chair of HL7 Japan, presented the “State-of-the-Art HL7 IPS (and others) in Asia” on behalf of the AeHIN Community of Interoperability Labs (COIL) to the International Council of HL7. Prof. Kimura also briefly shared information about the AeHIN COIL’s inception, its establishment, and the IPS Connectathon conducted in 2024 in Taipei, where the COIL participated.
