AeHIN members interested in joining the SNOMED CT Expo 2025 online, please register here.

AeHIN and SNOMED International have signed a formal collaboration agreement focused on education, awareness-building, and the promotion of SNOMED CT across the Asia-Pacific region. The partnership aims to support interoperable digital health systems by providing guidance on the safe, accurate, and effective exchange of health information

The agreement enables AeHIN’s member countries, including the Community of Interoperability Labs (COIL), to use SNOMED CT in proof-of-concept projects, helping demonstrate the practical benefits of standardized clinical terminology. Both organizations will work together to educate clinicians, researchers, vendors, and other stakeholders on the use of SNOMED CT, advocate for its adoption, and provide guidance on semantic interoperability with other health standards.

As part of this initiative, AeHIN members are invited to join the SNOMED CT Expo 2025 online, taking place from October 22 to 24, 2025. A limited number of free and 50% discounted online registration codes are available exclusively for AeHIN members. Given the limited slots, priority will be given to AeHIN Working Council (WC) representatives, COIL leads (or their designated representatives), and members from countries that are not SNOMED International Members.

Interested members are requested to complete the registration form on or before October 10, 2025: AeHIN SNOMED CT Expo 2025 Expression of Interest Form. If registering on behalf of a Working Council or COIL leader, please indicate their name in the last question of the form.
